My name's Dave Nielsen. I'm an artist/designer who's always loved telling stories and visiting imaginative places through pictures. I love to draw and paint.
After spending some time as a screenprinter, I left Illinois for Southern California to hone my fine art skills. That quest ultimately took me to Ron and Vanessa Lemen's school, Studio 2nd Street. There I've learned a wide range of approaches and skills, both conceptual and academic.
As a lifelong learner, I'm always looking for new ways to challenge myself and participate in creative work.
